What is your professional background and current position? I have spent time in sales, product management, market management, business development and recently transitioned to the marketing department to take on a new challenge of learning the rapidly changing marketing world.
What do you consider the most important achievement of your marketing career? I am so new (4 months), that is still to be determined.
What new marketing marketing trend excites you the most for the future? Virtual reality, how can we increase and make tradeshows “virtual” so a larger audience can see our offerings?
What is the biggest challenge you have faced in your marketing career? Going through a re-brand, and getting the company to have a uniform voice and presence globally.
What resources do you use to stay current on marketing best practices? (i.e. blogs, newsletters, websites, conferences, books, podcasts, etc.) Blogs (Branding Strategy Insider), AMA, New Rules for Marketing and PR (Book), many outlets.

What would you tell others about AMA Columbia based on your experiences? Columbia is growing and needs people that know branding and marketing. The AMA is the perfect outlet for all of us to gather, share, wonder, make plans and execute. The people are friendly and the content is great, come see for yourself.

What is your favorite quote or saying? “All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.” — T.E.
